Check with your teacher for print resources in your classroom. 3. Search the MARVEL online databases to find encyclopedia articles on your species and aquatic environment. 4. Use the web sites listed below to find information about your species. 5. Search your school's growing Gulf of Maine database for species information. |

Web Sites:Resources with lots of animals: ME Dept. of Marine Resources: Species Information: Lots of information about fish Chesapeake Bay Food Web: Find some species predator/prey information here. Fishes of the Gulf of Maine: Go to the Common Name index to get lots of information on your species. Chesapeake Bay Plants & Animals: Information on plants & animals in Chesapeake Bay (some of these will correlate with the Gulf of Maine. eNature: Lots of animals! BBC Animal Fact Files: Great resource for many animals. National Geographic Animals:Search the A-Z list for your animal Aquascope: Information from Scandinavia about many of our species, especially periwinkles Enchanted Learning: Lots of information on many sea creatures.
